Hay Time

 It's hay time once again. Each year the kids get their picture on top of a bale.

Bonus this year. The farmer is still cutting and baling so he left his tractor in the field.

Big tractors are a magnet.

Grandmas' Day Camp - Day 4

Day number 4 - the last day. Will and Abby were the flag ceremony people.

Leading the pledge.

Painting the pigs.

Everyone was excited that they were actually looking like pigs.

It wasn't too messy.

After pig painting a refreshing stop for cheap slushies.

Then on to the temple site. Using binoculars they could see the Angel Moroni up close.

Rolling paper beads. Much like basket-weaving for Jennifer.

The other group was doing who knows what.

Abby insisted in learning to finger weave. Jocie and Emmy are ponybead experts.

Decorating the pigs. After putting on the eyes Will said, "Evil Dr. Porkchop".

The pigs drying. We should have used markers instead of puff paints. The activity was called on account of paint everywhere but the pigs.

Skating was the closing activity.

We had a bunch of beginners.

Emmy went around several times.

The end of Grandmas' Day Camp! We need better cameras.

Grandmas' Day Camp - Day 3

Day number 3 of Grandmas' Day Camp.  Emmy and Addie were in charge of the flag ceremony.Emmy brought out the flag.

We made our camp stools.

We should have made one, so we could have corrected the design.

Will isn't too sure at the beginning of the day.

We did get them all put together.

Back to the KC Museum. It was garden day. All the songs were about gardens and nature.

Camp songs are everywhere.

Then we made flowers.

Crafting is right up our alley.

All the floweres made.

Coloring with pastels.

Back home for movie time and snacks. Will's specialty.

The pigs are still wet.

The older 5 got the hang of it.

Yea!!! Another fun day is over.

Grandmas' Day Camp - Day 2

 It was a hot, bright day. We started with the pledge. Kallie and Jocie were leading us.

Of course sing invovled Rutti-tute.

The big craft of the day...papier mache pigs.
