I'm back!

Its been forever. Our computer crashed and after several attempts to re-format, re-boot, re-date, etc. and several lost days Steve finally admitted we needed to buy a new one. Fortunately Wal-mart had a good Black Friday deal and Tom was able to snare one. Then the big TV was purchased the on the Saturday (late at night) after Black Friday since we weren't so lucky to get the Sear's deal. Of installing was postponed for Sunday and while Trevor listed out all the cables, etc. that needed bought on Monday. While I was at St. Louis Mon-Wed, the TV elves installed the TV and left the old BIG console in the entry way and chaos everywhere else (they had to take a lot of office stuff off the shelves over the computer to put the DVR and such there; leaving all the junk piled on the kitchen table and elsewhere). Of course I didn't get anyone to bring down all the Christmas boxes because of all the new electronics taking up time and space. On Saturday 12/6 the TV was moved out of the foyer. Sunday Cristmas boxes were brought down. Fortunately Trevor's nephew came in town to buy a car (they don't sell cars in Utah) that didn't run, bought a car that was in pieces in our shop, came up to get the car running with Trevor, and got recruited to move the chair out of the front room so I could actually have room to put up the tree and all else. Tuesday was spent actually decorating. Somewhere during all of this I hurt my wrist so after 3 weeks of pain I finally went to the doctors. True to the cosmos I once again was punished for making fun of someone. I now have a wrist brace to wear to keep me from bending and using my right hand (although I'm tying without it, along with doing other stuff- its baking and wrapping season). I do put it one throughout the day and wear one with a thumb splint at night. Steve says I'm getting old. Thanks sweetie!
