Today we received this letter:
Dear Sister,
We regret to inform you that there has been a tornado, a flood, an earthquake and a volcanic eruption (take your pick of any or all).
· Electricity is limited (no TV, computers, gaming systems, cell phone chargers, and few lights).
· Water is hard to get, so limit its use.
· All of the stores and gas stations will only accept cash.
· Between your house and the grocery store there is no way to get across the flood, or the flow of lava, or the giant crack in the earth circling your home. Therefore, you and your family need to live on your food storage for the next few days. Please enjoy all the wonderful things you have accumulated for just such a time.
Keeping in mind we don’t want anyone to put themselves or their family in danger, we do ask that you participate as much as you can and in as many areas as you can for this “disaster”. Bring a report on how it went to our RS Activity Meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 6:30PM.
Have a good day.
Love,
Kim Williams, 1st Counselor Relief Society
Cheryl Belcher, Home Making Leader,
Provident Living Coordinator
PS: Please bring one of your 72 Hour Kits to the RS Activity Meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 6:30PM
So I'm going off grid until Friday. Checking back then.
