More Farm Life

So I was cleaning out the coop (mucking out the poop catchers) and taking down the fencing that kept the chicks away from the big hens. The chicks are now so big they can't get into the fenced area, well, all but PuffBall. She is still able to get in the area as evidenced by a floor nest with 4 eggs sitting in it. The eggs are now inside...anyone want 4 small eggs of various days old? Its been cool so they all should be good. PuffBall wasn't brooding them.

Matt has his first kill. A very nice doe that he is taking up to the Holt meat locker to get processed. Luckily the angle I took the picture didn't let the 'gutting' show.
