Turkey Trauma

Once again I go to let out the chickens only to find out there has been chaos. Walking to the coop I noticed turkey feathers (the first picture) and thought - 'now that's strange'. Then I opened up the coop and saw the turkey amid more feathers on the floor and the turkey was looking rather bare.

Dumping the muck (turkey poo) I saw feathers all over the grass and down towards the east fencing. Who knows what happened!?!
Steve locked the chickens/turkey up last night but didn't say anything about the turkey being bare. All he told me last night was that he didn't count the chickens. This morning he said he did notice some feathers on the ground last night.

What? He couldn't see that the turkey no longer had a chief's headdress but now was a brave? I need cameras on all parts of my property. If I had a survaillance system I would now be watching a mega fight. I've got chickens laying eggs, but without coop cam I'm not sure who's doing what.

This picture doesn't capture how truely pathetic Thanksgiving looks. On the bright side, there will be less feathers to pluck when we dress him out.
