Friday we found another chick laying in the grass by the garden, hurt but alive. So I began a chick hospital in the family room.
I noticed that the chicken door had been pushed open more than half-way, so Bingo could get in to play. Steve put screws in the frame so the door couldn't be pushed open.
Saturday evening Steve caught Bingo in the coop with another chick being played with. How she squeezed in is a mystery. So that chick was brought into the chick hospital and Steve closed the door even more and put screws in the frame.
The first chick liked someone else in the box. This morning (Sunday) both chicks went back to the coop and we chained Bingo up while we were gone. Hopefully there won't be any more incidents.
