It started today,
a week full of fun. We began with a nature hike at Martha Lafite that was
rather long. We went "off pavement" at the beginning and kept getting on smaller and smaller paths. After forging the creek and going down a one (skinny) man path we had to back track when the path
ended. So back across the creek we went. The terrain was so rough
that my camera's battery compartment opened and I lost a battery (so no picks from half-way on the hike on). Back at Jennifer's we decorated our neckerchiefs (just in case we need them for broken arms), ate lunch, sang camp songs, tye-died our camp T-shirts,had our obstacle course, made cotton candy and popcorn, watched part of a movie, sang more songs and then went home. This evening Steve and I prepared the bird house kits for tomorrow.
