Life Update

I can't remember all that has happened since the last post. It includes Girls' Camp (chicks arriving as we're leaving the church), St. Louis Temple work, July 4th vacation (with Tom arriving in town hours after we had left for the lake), and going to Omaha to go to the zoo and check out places for 2010 Family Reunion.

Just as we were leaving for Girls' Camp, Steve called and said the Holt Post Office had just called saying the chicks were in. I sent the girls who were riding with me with someone else and zipped up to the post office. Nothing but peeping on the way home and all chicks looked healthy and active. There are 20 and they're supposed to be all females.

While at the lake, Tom called to say that the pasta people had called. So between the lake vacation and leaving for Omaha we picked up the tote (filled with pasta goodness). Tom has had his fork-lift license so he was able to unload the truck when we got home.

Emmy and Abby check out Tom's snake (yes it too comes on vacation)
Getting free food by dressing up as a cow is hard work. I got home from Omaha and Steve was babysitting the grandkids.

Of course they had to stay all night, and then got to have fun on grandpa's toys.

What is wrong with this picture? "You might be a red-neck if..."
